i'm cautiously optimistic but 57 minutes seems extremely long for what they do, or really any band of this style. gotta think there's gonna be some dissociation-esque curveballs in there.

Yeah CT was deliciously succinct

CT always left you wanting more, which is part of what made it so great.
The Kerrang interview seems like Lemon and Body Horror For Birds will break up the album a bit halfway through

Legit thought that was Jeremy McKinnon for a sec on Trout lol
Demon is undoubtedly the better of the two, but definitely digging both songs over pretty much anything on the EP.

The 2 new singles have grown on me hard and I was already loving Demon Dog but now that shit wont get out of my head

I think it's pretty foolish to assume that we can assume anything based on the singles regardless and the album is probably going to have a nice amount of variety. I'm not concerned with topping this or not, I just hope it's not more of the same and that it's spicy and fresh and interesting and a fun listen, and no part of me is worried that it won't be.
I don't really see them as artists who want to water down their shit just for the sake of expanding their audience and I think if anything the singles have at least shown us they're not going that route.
