After jamming this nonstop for over a year I can finally say I've cooled down on it a bit. It's an absolutely phenomenal record and it truly changed my life but yea definitely needed a break. I mean this band literally took over my Spotify in 2022 and I ended up being top .01% of fans haha. I can kinda agree with Light too that Welcome In is the only song that I don't return to much.



Hell I'll probably 5 it again after a full spin in a month or two. Tbh I'm just really hungry for some new tunes, dying to hear where they go from here.

My buddy has been wanting me to pick up BG3 so badly lol and your endorsement has me even more curious. Gotta look into that.



I've been retro gaming lately tbh none of these modern games really interest me anymore. Just played the og Resident Evil again for like the 10th time, that and the og re4 are probably my fav games of all time. Also recently played the Metal Gear games for the first time and holy fuck.

It's a blast dude, highly recommend it. Just be warned that it's a major time suck lol. It's so easy to play for like 5 straight hours and not even realize.



I've honestly never played a Resident Evil or Metal Gear game before. Obviously I'm aware of them, but just never gave either series a shot for some reason.

I'm 160 hours into my Baldur's Gate 3 campaign. Every time I think I'm wrapping it up I find a new building in the city that has 4 levels of underground stuff and full questlines.



Also, MGS2 is one of the GOATs. Unbelievably great game, even in 2024.

Dude YES. So I'm not the only person who thought MGS2 was the best. If people weren't so bummed you had to play as Raiden for most of the game I'm sure it would have gone down as one of the greatest games of all time. I mean that ending monologue from the colonel AI... Kojima knew what was going to happen to society 20 years ago. Terrifyingly accurate to how things ended up.



Just bought BG3 btw, added it to my huge backlog of games that I don't have the time to play anymore lol. Really stoked to check it out tho at some point.

And Bandit at least play the og Resident Evil 4, I can't recommend that game enough. It's a masterpiece in every single regard once you get used to the awkward tanky controls. Wonderfully cheesy characters, best atmosphere, sound design, looting system, storyline, bosses. Game has it all. The remake is great too but nothing compares to the og.



Ashley might be a little annoying at times but honestly escorting her isn't nearly as big of a pain in the ass as you'd think.

That's exactly where I'm at Light lol. Took me like 100 hours to go through my first playthough and now I'm on my second one and finding all kinds of shit that I missed the first time around.

And that’s why I’m scared of it. I’m going out of town in March (Chelsea Wolfe show!!) and took a whole week off for it. Maybe I’ll start BG3 when I get back. Might be able to make a decent dent in it before I get dragged back to the grind.
