Suck My Kiss is one of the most fun songs to play on guitar. Much like a lot of the other RHCP songs, I love switching between the lead and rhythm parts... it's as if John composed them as instrumental conversations, like two people with different perspectives engaging in an argument

Agree that John was absolutely untouchable on this. 'If You Have to Ask' and 'I Could Have Lied' in particular. Not only technically, but the soul and tone of the guitar is just perfect.

If only they'd switched out some of the b-sides for a few of the the weaker tracks on this. 'Soul to Squeeze' especially. Man, I'd even take 'Fela's Cock' over 'Naked in the Rain'.
