hard to quibble with any of the first 4 ranked anywhere honestly. they are all great and fairly different. finishing up a rev on hlidskjalf actually. liked that one a lot. excited to get into the post prison stuff.

Oh nice, keen to read that when you drop it! I’ve actually been jamming the discog because I had a bunch of the latter stuff unrated since I jammed most of the tracks piecemeal rather than as full albums, but I actually sat down and listened to everything in their proper place finally. On a re-spin, i realized I prefer Daudi’s character to the rest of the ambient output, and I also realized I like Fallen better than Belus. Both of those things surprised me.

thanks man! always fun doing a discog run of a classic band, especially for me seeing as i had only heard a few burzum songs before this. so cool to see an artists evolution as you go.
daudi definitely has some charm to it but i do not like that 10 minute long repeated piano song haha. really like the closer on it though. think i'll finish up that rev for hlidskjalf tonight, had more than i thought to say. it's worth another look.
