It really doesn't help that all of RTJ's lyrics are either paint by numbers liberalist platitudes or how they go so hard and plow all other emcees into the ground

Those two things only make up about 50% of the lyrics.

Another 20% is penis jokes, a further 20% is smut, 10% is introducing Zach de la Rocha

"Don't give me the 'all music is subjective' speech, that shit doesn't fly with me. And yeah, a big part of musical enjoyment is subjective but I still haven't heard anything but 'it's bad because it's bad'. If you guys can't do better than just shittalk why even contribute to the discussion."

He just didn't realise these are about as hip as chapless dungarees and wanted more of a discussion than a run in with the cool police

I'm at peace with RtJ being the most uncool thing on the planet

Ok, to qualify, they're not cool to like on this site at all. Generally they're maybe not the most uncool but they are quite cheesy. I like the 'dumb' element to them but I can see how they wouldn't be the hip hop historian's choice or what have you

They are seen as taking themselves seriously here where I always interpret them as being not so serious about themselves

I don't think I would describe them as "dumb"... "fun" is a better word imo.

The silent majority of Sput voters don't carry any credibility here so the 4.1's are void

according to MacMan this album has a 1.7 rating removing all votes from lurkers, alts and noobs
