hyperpop is just one of those rare styles that evokes a visceral feeling of disgust in me that i cant quite explain so 100 gecs are bad by default
this album on the other hand has some infectious melodies, Spencer's vocals are some of my favorite in the genre, top 5, and everything feels like it fits where it should

onionbubs just went into the album this time wanting to hate it 100%. Periphery are easily one of the best metalcore bands to come out, period. That is if they are even considered metalcore... they've straight-up transcended the metalcore genre at the seams, I digress. They have influenced every single metalcore band to come out of the scene in some way shape or form since 2010 for christs sake.
