I like this one slightly more than EWBA. Also the color argument doesn't masir much sense cuz green and red exist but no one acknowledges them either.

This one's just a better album to me. I jammed the hell out of EWBA when it came out, and I still do from time to time, but I don't think it's aged all that well

This is super happy fun times with awesome songwriting while EWBA just seems like solid Weezer

Suppose i should check EWBA at some point but i don't really care for this band at all besides Pinkerton. Like i gave this a 4 and it does sound really nice but haven't felt compelled to revisit after a couple of listens, guess i should re-evaluate this.

this is super annoying "fun" times with typical rivers' songwriting (aka nothing to write home about) while ewba just seems like solid weezer

Once again, the white album is a complete album, unified in theme and tone, while EWBAITE is a few great songs that reminded people of glory days Weezer with some filler and some guitar noodling.

Everyone overhyped EWBAITE as if it was a return to former Weezer and then I listened to it and was supremely disappointed. Sounds like a parody of old Weezer.

ewbaite isnt a very good album at all imo. too often it sounds like an old rock parody without the parody. like the darkness without the darkness's self-awareness. they overplay their instruments. really weird sound for the band imo. doesnt sound comfortable the way that this album does. i do think the first few songs of ewbaite are good, and they all have potential but are too often sabotaged by a melody or hook that jumps around the scale a little too much. feels like summer (the new single) i do not like because the electronic elements are way over-the-top and it sounds annoying and desperate; however i think the songwriting is still solid. the melodies aren't awkward and the progressions are comfortable. i think if feels like summer was a rock song in the vein of the white album, then it would be a great track, as the songwriting is solid, which is more than i can say for a lot of weezer's stuff.

How can you possibly even claim Pinkerton hasn't aged well ALA?

You can say it but it's impossible for you to know how well it has aged both because you weren't even born when it was released so you can't know how you would have felt about it back in the day and because you only just recently listened to it (if I understand correctly) so you can't even know how it will age for you personally.
