To any Kansas Sputters out there, just putting it out there that you may soon have the opportunity to both enjoy a Modest Mouse concert and have a laugh at these ass-backwards smoothbrains impotently screeching about it outside the venue. Not something I would miss out on if I was in the area.

Polar Opposites has the most depressing lyric of the entire album, though, ''I'm trying to drink away the part of the day that I cannot sleep away''
love how he sings that part.

Ik it's the obvious pick but most depressing lyrics for me go to "Bankrupt on Selling", that last verse puts a tear in my beer every time. Polar Opposites is hella under-appreciated though, that instrumental breakdown is so damn powerful.
