ss is one of the stronger tracks here. not coincidentally it's also one of the shortest.

Every song here rules hard. The self titled track, one, blackened, the frayed end of sanity are my favorite one, if this album had more presence of the bass it will be considered by everybody the magnum opus of Metallica

not likely. many (myself included) feel that this is too long and simply drags a bit too much at times. album would be more enjoyable with better production/mixing for sure though.
