Growling would actually be more of the same. Only clean vocals is very refreshing, and his delivery is more emphatic and enjoyable on Heritage. Looking forward to the next album, they should expand on these ideas and add more experimental elements.

i want more growls on the next one myself. opeth are at their best when its balls to the wall aggression.

Pretty sure there won't be any on growls on the next album. From what I've read it sounds like they're gonna continue with this direction.
