All Killswitch is fun to play. Often fairly simple but Adam just had a knack for riff writing and phrasing.

this was okay but the Howard era of this band was it's best run and most interesting songwriting, Jesse came back after Howard and just made Adam an idiot or something, they went back to thrash roots, which on paper sounds like one of the coolest things this band could do, but Howard made such an impression on the capability of this band that nothing they've done comes close, save for Adam and Jesse's personal endeavors

Somehewat agreed with everything you said except the rating for this. Prime Howard KSE will always be the kings of metalcore. Killer 3 album run.

Yeah I worded that weird. By the 3, I meant for Killswitch in general- Alive, Heartache, and Daylight. That last Howard record was trash yup.

Liking KsE albums after this but not this is crazy business. We'll pat his head at Thanksgiving and then slowly back away.

While I was away in the Army, crack turned my first wife into a literal crackwhore. I'd hate to see the same thing happen to you, Hawks. *shrugs*

"it's okay to not like Jesse post 2002" His harsh vox on here were sick. He did take a big step down everything after.

I don't even think that's true necessarily. Jesse has pretty much always been a great vocalist. The band has just been trending downward since this release. Couple high points throughout, but mostly more and more watered down.
