Yea dude, it's so dark and it hits hard. It aged very well for me, I like it a lot more than I used to

As irreplaceable as Aaron felt in the band, I was really excited to see what the band would do without him. Turns out they were able to put out a great album, and Daniel Davison’s drumming is superb here.

I hold their last three albums in equal regard

this is their second best for me

would be their best if not for two nitpicks; there's a tiny bit of repetitiveness in the second half songwriting, and Spencer's high screams don't sound great

even so, shit rules

I just didn't feel this one my dude, I gave it an honest try when it came out

This is definitely the least adventurous of the three, feels way more repetitive like you said. Probably because this has more repeated choruses than the last two albums

This is my least fav out of the last 4 albums for sure, but it still rips hard. Can't wait for the new one man.

Figured I’d come back to this band in time for the new one and I don’t regret it. I gotta try the one in between this and DTGL

"How come? I figured most people got into em from TOCS, when Aaron was most prevalent. But idk for sure"

Be sure my man, cause you were 100% on this. TOCS is still their most popular album, the most prominently featured in their anthology, and considered on par with DTGL for their most influential.

Lost In the Sound of Separation is really great, a little more experimental than DTGL

TOCS was easy for scene kids to get into. Anyone who hopped off when DTGL came out probably only enjoyed the music at surface-level

The variety of opinions on ranking their big four speaks volumes of their consistency.
