this isnt specifically about the lyrics but (sorry eno): "So imagine in the middle of a well-funded Bright Eyes tour Conor Oberst gets drafted and goes through 5 miserable years of malnutrition and harsh battles. At the end of one particular battle, he sees multiple companions die and he and a soldier he's never conversed with end up stranded. The other soldier is sitting on a log smoking a boag, while Connor silently weeps and starts to hang a noose around his head. In his last few moments of life he makes eye contact with the other soldier and the man says to him: "Stop being such a faggot.""

b) I'm not ruling out that fact that this is awesome or something... like I get that you guys like it. It's just that I've listened like 10 or so times, to varying degrees of enjoyment... never really connected with it like others have not sure why. I love their other thing they did though. I was just gonna give this another listen soon though, see what happens.
