I know what you mean. After 5 listens it's still a hard album to pin down, if you judge it on face value rather than hype. Everything's good, but it's tough to decide what you like about it. I eventually settled on a solid 4, but I'm expecting it to rise in time, when I've listened to it more

I seriously can't see what is so good about this. I've been trying to listen for over a year now.
hey plumber - err - i mean sonic. once 'paranoid android' sunk in i started to realize that it was just another track and that 'subterranean homesick alien' was just as powerful and interesting. then 'lucky' started blowing my mind and i realized 'let down' and 'climbing up the walls' individually redefined the album. there's so many extraordinary tracks on here that are so difficult to fully appreciate but this thing's revered for good reason
(ps kid a and amnesiac are better)
