I know that was a major concern they had when they were writing it. They still stumble over a few parts, haven't quite figured out how they want 'em to sound live, but I definitely agree.
The Color Fred? Is that a real band?

Good album. Definite progress has been made since Kieza. However it still has that "same-same" feeling from it, from track to track. It's just a good thing that they're well crafted songs and that sound is good to begin with.
They're coming along nicely.

sadly yes. If you ever followed taking back sunday (which i did a handful of years back) he was the guitarist who always had a creepy smile and emo hair. I doubt that will actually narrow down who you might be thinking of but more importantly the band is as clever as their name. yeah... that bad.

Why does the copy I'm listening to have no vocals whatsoever?
EDIT: Nevermind. It was split into 2 copies, the first 10 have the vocals, the last 10 don't. Weird. This Message Edited On 04.06.08

Why are you dipshits (Kattun, Poet) even talking about ****ing BTBAM in here?
I was just saying...jeez, get your panties in a bunch.
WTF, Poet, why would you do that
Cause Colors was cheaper and my mom may have said no if I told her Fortress was $12.

What are you, 12?
And over two dollars?
No. Not like you need to know, but I am 17. No need to question financial situations either.
Ok, I am done now.

I'll get it later, when I'm less busy. I love Instrumentals.

^^(chan) that was my first impression. I was convinced it was some karaoke gimmick.
fun.

It's not a gimmick at all, the album was written instrumentally with Rody composing his own vocal melodies once the instrumental portions of the songs were written. The instrumental version gives you a greater perspective, there's a lot going on that you tend to miss on the final release.

| |
^agreed. It's funny how much the feel changes when it lacks such passionate vocals. semi-addicted to the vocal-less versions

^sequioa throne baby. saw it live last night and goodness... they were so drunk.

man the synths in bone marrow and dissentience makes those tracks seem like 50% more epic than they are......
unless you could really make that sound with a guitar from 0:20 on..This Message Edited On 04.07.08
