yeah massively overrated here. i love this album and it has some of their best songs but it drives me nuts that everything just immediately calls it their best album and makes it seem like nothing else could compete for that title.

a lot of people bring up its influence in the genre, and how important it is within that context, but that doesn't speak to how enjoyable it actually is. i can think of a dozen 'important' albums that aren't that great
