I was listening to Carcass and Slayer at 14 so I don't think screamed vox are something that inherently stops me liking something, some genres just have a bit of a ceiling on them in terms of me playing them to death and becoming a favourite I guess

This album is actually extremely homogeneous compared to the other ones I mentioned. It's great to listen to but so many songs just bleed into each other. I know it's blasphemy to call any of their albums better than this but idgaf. I prefer their sludgier stuff
