‘It's weird how much into music that sounds like a drug trip I am at times when I profess to be straight edge but I mean for me it's better than actually taking it myself’
Yep, I definitely get you there. I did do hallucinogenics and so when I listen to psychedelic music it adds something for sure, I don’t actually need to be under the influence anymore. The memory is enough. Not quite the same obviously as I have that former ‘experience’ yet I don’t need to get high to experience it these days

Sometimes I think that there are two edges to the universe. One made of gelatin and the other made of primordial dust perpetrated by the worst kind of person

This album was kind of underwhelming to be honest

literally anything would’ve been tho, 13 years of build up, this could’ve been the second coming of Christ and it still would’ve been made out to be a disappointment by people
|

alternatively, could have dropped within 2 yrs of 10k Days and it would still be a total flophouse

I don't know about that Tim but I personally prefer Aenima over Lateralus
|
| |
Album Rating: 3.5
No that’s reasonable because I think I do too.
Lateralus is probs more consistent but I think Aenima is probably the better record overall
|
| |
Album Rating: 2.5
Aenima is definitely better than Lateralus as well agreed, best tool album
|
| |
Album Rating: 5.0
lateralus is great but it’s so self-serious. anima is that perfect blend of serious Tool and the more playful Undertow. it just hits that sweetspot for me
