Granted I haven't heard either in 5+ (maybe 10) years, but I'd throw down the "strongly disagree" card, brother.

The more famous songs especially on Come Clarity are infectious.

still crossing my fingers that in flames throws a curveball and does one of those x year anniversary tours for one of their old albums like all those other bands have been doing recently

That is the only way I would ever pay money to see them again at this point. I feel like if they did do that, Colony would be a good choice for them. Kinda the best of both worlds as far as their old material goes, and most feasible for a live show.

Last time I saw them was 2012, they even played pinball map. Nowdays they are only playing post clayman shit with the exception of only for the weak

So it's essentially a totally different band. They've totally alienated the old fans that built the band and are catering to the new radio rock fans.

The last album I enjoyed of these guys was sounds of Sounds of a Playground Fading and that's because I have a soft spot for metalcore and nu metal. But since siren charms they have become an abosulte joke, the biggest issue with those guys is not the genre because come clarity regardless of the genre is fantastic, but they have become lazy as shit and anders vocals went rollercoaster downhill

the only reason i went to see in flames the past couple of years was to see whatever old song they were playing that tour lol

One friend saw them in london this year and they only played 1 song of their melodeath era per concert, after hearing that I won't even bother. Anders should be forced to make a fuckin jester race or whoracle pt 2 as a punishment cuz their latest 2 efforts have been beyond pathetic
