2nd best is Soul Burn, i really dont like catch twenty two, it's a bad album and rushed, it sounds like the drummer gave up and went to the computer to mess around and they just released it that way

Catch 22 is the demo where Tomas played the drum tracks, you're thinking of Catch 33

“ i get the feeling the shugg finally lost me with this album.”
a few tracks aren’t as strong but this still has some real heavy hitters

Definitely didn't give it enough time and spins to let it grow on me yet, thats for sure. But Violent Sleep immediately grabbed me back in 2016. This does not.

I'm not a Meshuggah fan, I loved Obzen but Koloss and The Violent Sleep of Reason didn't appeal to me.
I'm really happy as I enjoy Immutable quite a lot.

I've come at this album from a few angles, but it hasn't really clicked properly so far. Definitely not an instant hit like a few of their previous releases, so it's currently sitting near the bottom of the Shugg pile for me...for now.
