touched in the head?

touched by god?

touched as in feeling it in your heart, eg grateful?

There's a band I just found called Tommy Tokyo and Starving for my Gravy that sounds a lot like this guy. Kind of the same delivery, almost thought it was him until I looked into the release

If you're a fan of these guys, check out Friko, they just put out an album

I was waiting for when I'd see Friko appear on this thread. Where did that band come from anyway, and how are they blowing up?

No idea, but I saw people talking about the album and checked it and it’s very good!

It’s not exactly BCNR obvi, but a lot of similarity

Friko has more noisy moments, I dig

Vocals definitely gave me BCNR vibes from the jump. Really nice debut but I wish there were more songs like Chemical.

This anti-hype feels a bit forced, no? lol

These guys will drop another album this year and it'll have a lot of discourse. This one still rules, much better than the first album

Wtf are you all on about, people still love and talk about this album a lot

It's literally in the top 100 on RYM now

gross
this album is mostly goodness, but jfc if any record has ever epitomised a hype deflation, it's the trite live record they dropped last year. maybe they'll get it together, but since they've left this entire era in the past afaic they're gonna have to prove themselves anew
