I’m not sure how I feel about it yet. Definitely a vibe. Some songs are “boring” on their own but they fit within the contextual experience of the album as a whole. Singles are mostly the least engaging tracks.

gonna have to find a way to distill and condense my thoughts when not under the influence of psychedelia but i like that it feels like they kept a lot of the ethos of what makes me love this album intact while channeling it through a record that sounds completely different. thats some king shit right there erra



definitely have a few problems with it that will permanently keep it out of the 5 club with this (but thats unrealistic when ive only heard the new one three times and this literal thousands of times lol) but im really, really happy with it overall

They definitely took a groovier, more djenty approach this time so I can see why people would be disappointed with it. Only one Jesse solo on the album too boowomp.



The highlights are among their best material tho and Blue Reverie might actually be my fav. Song is so nice
