holy shit that drop in rating bubs, ya the first two are some of the weaker tracks but i was shocked at how much the opener grew on me after being away for ages

lmao yea hardest ive dropped an album in ages i used to dig this a good bit when it came out and i was like 15 but its so style over substance to me the songwriting is so poor and incoherent throughout this thing + i cant stand spencer anymore. the heavy tracks are the worst offenders here since the ballads are at least mostly competent compositionally but the vocal melodies are so boring and predictable on them that they dont work either. flatline was the only okay ish song to me this go around and even that i dont like nearly as much as i used to



hail stan is still solid tho fixes a lot of the problems i have w this despite the fairly similar direction. shows that similar styles =/= similar quality
