See that's part of the problem to me though. Like honestly I might respect them more if they did new stuff with him with a new moniker that I could analyze on its own merits. Them doing stuff with him as Anberlin just pales in comparison to what came before, and it bastardizes their catalog when he does it In my opinion. I don't know the whole thing rubs me the wrong way. I wish they would do a different band but like Sowing said they won't

For some reason it reminds me of early escape the fate. The vocal Melodies work well, but this just isn't Anberlin to me lol

Idk I could definitely hear Stephen singing it. Would fit in right alongside their early work imo, it's just a little less interesting.
The whole name thing is just a bad situation no matter what you do. Would be cool if in the future they get both vocalists on an album

I hear what you mean, and agree I could hear Stephen sing it, but his lyrics weren't crap like this and their early work had personality. This still just sounds like standard modern pop to me
