Saw that show last night in STL.
Honestly, Volbeat's place in the lineup was good. Got the crowd amped for slipknot, who obviously sounded super vicious following them up. I don't even like them, but they are a pretty good band and riff sufficiently hard.

If the annoying vocalist shuts up and I only listen to the music, sure. Otherwise hard no. It's a shame too because their early records were pretty metal and cool.
