I already know this'll cause Johnnyboy to hate me even more than he already does but it must be done:
Coyote
Dowsing Anemone
Choirs of the Eyes
Hubardo
Blue Lambency Downward
Gamma Knife
Moss Grew
~~ below here it doesn't really matter tbh ~~
Coffins on Io
Plastic House
Blasphemy

I like Coyote at #1 just for the chaos of it
mine needs serious revisiting / work but my current stance (all the ones I have checked) is...
Blue Lambency
Choirs
Dowsing
Coyote
Hurbado
Ended up in a cycle of I'm not gonna force it so I rarely get anywhere because they are not a band where you just chuck something on without committing fully (imo). It's been years so maybe I'm just destined not to get much further, lol

Hubardo
Coffins
PHOBOS
Moss Grew
Blasphemy
Coyote

only just realised how much Harold Budd Toby must have been listening to when he composed the chamber tracks on this
"Blasphemy
Coyote
Dowsing
Choirs"
dead thread for exactly a month = appropriate reaction to this ngl

Oh Tec's ranking them. That's the call for me to do it too!! 1-4 are 4.5s, 5-8 are 4s and 9 and 10 are 3.5s. One of the best discogs ever.

4. Coffins on Io
5. Gamma Knife
6. Plastic House on Base of Sky
7. Moss Grew on the Swords and Plowshares Alike
8. Blue Lambency Downward
9. Coyote
10. Blasphemy

@jr: I love Blue Lambency, heard a fair few others (some are pretty damn cool), but I regularly forget KD is an option because I never feel like listening to them I guess
nice to see some variance in the rankings

My Japanese import Hubardo CD signed by Toby Driver is one of my most cherished items

This is a lot to take in but I am digging it

"9. Coyote"
Sad !!!

Hey I still dig it!! Lol

It’s okay - you are forgiven for having Choirs/Dowsing at 2/3 🙏🏼

Jesus christ man... The audacity to release such a masterpiece... This and Choirs genius levels are so off the charts. Only Deathspell Omega and maybe Rush make me take my hat off in awe of what I'm listening to. These guys and specially Toby are living music goats
This LP is the definitive avant-garde metal plate. It's pure brilliance and fearless, genius musical expression.
PS: The Black Stone rules so hard it's not even fair. The fact that most people find it cringe makes it even better.
