now i'm curious what i'd make of this
im not sure what the likelihood of seeing eye to eye with a 30% indie rock pie chart user is though, probably minimal

park you'd prob think this is alright and enjoy the variety since there's two discs, though i think i'd give Lost Ground a spin first just so you get the gist of their sound when it comes to hardcore and figure out if you'd be interested in more of that

that's declined even harder tbh. i think the proportions have stayed roughly the same because im mostly re-rating things i already had rated. it will look drastically different in due time though

the pie charts are pre useless regardless
spent the past 2 weeks listening solely to hip hop n post punk on genre tags etc n no change

agreed, if pie charts were actually accurate to their percentages, post punk would probably be in place of pop punk and so would some form of hardcore be in my chart but shrug so it goes
plus i try not to judge based on pie charts unless it's 60%+ prog, then i might draw a line but otherwise the system is kinda inaccurate and not very helpful at all yeah

i believe it only counts ratings between 3.5 and 5 though i'm told there is also some weighting involved
|
| |
Album Rating: 3.0
yeah i thought it was what you rated between 4 and 5, but 3.5-5 with weighting makes more sense, but yeah the only thing ratings lower than that do is affect objectivity

| |
Album Rating: 2.5
well according to pika (?) low ratings also count against a genre being on your chart so idk
|
| |
Album Rating: 3.0
nah because i have just as many emo, hip-hop/rap, and pop punk 1's and 2's as i do 4's and 5's, that wouldnt make sense at all at least judging off of my case
