You can't judge by just hearing "some songs."Different songs have different moods which could dictate how the vocals sound. And what could be "ghastly" about this record besides some admittedly subpar harsh vocals???

Oh thought you were referring to the record as a whole. Idk what you've heard but Aaron's vocals on Oceanic are incredible. Truly animalistic.

I like his harsh vocals on here lol a lot of people don't though. I had to bump my rating for this. When the worst song on the album is ghost key, you know this is an incredible album.

I love ghost key up until the very end. They have this jammy bridge that goes on a little too long and the ending seems generic to me. Otherwise I love the song. Would give it 4.1 out of five
