Oh Douglas, it's not your fault you're wrong.

First impressions never last.

This album is awesome, but I don't think it's likely to change the course of music.

Amazing album, but there are a couple of songs that drag it down from being a 5 for me.. like Daily Routine.

This album has so much to it! Some may complain that they've strayed away from their older sound but damnit I hope they keep straying away! They just keep getting better and better and they really don't back track which I love.

I think they've actually been pretty consistent. Everything they've released from Sung Tongs onward has been at around the same level of quality.

this is great but it really relies on a few songs whereas Feels is an incredibly complete album, high-quality throughout

It's hard for me to give an objective view on the issue, seeing as Feels is my favorite album ever.
While the hooks on Merriweather are arguably better, just like Sea said Feels is a totally complete experience and flows more like an album.

I like all their albums. But I really don't think there is a weak track on MPP at all. The only part that isn't amazing is the stupid second half of Daily Routine. Everything else is pretty much joy.

not a no more runnin' fan?
|

What wreck said. But it's like I said, all their LPs are great, I just like them all for different reasons. This is just ridiculously good dreamy summer pop. Shit doesn't get much better.

nice sniper. id bring up the whole seasonal argument again but this is playable in summer i suppose. i played no more runnin' in a really indie-snowy fashion once though, so that's really my favourite track from this.
strawberry jam is my of-the-summer AC release really.

Sung Tongs - autumn
Feels - spring
Strawberry Jam - summer
MPP - winterspringsummerfall
Edit: fix'd
|
| |
For me anyway.
|
| |
Shit, I actually meant Feels as spring, and Jam as summer.
