the talking kinda takes away from the great instrumental. Not a huge fan. WOuld have been better without

I'd honestly say the talking is what makes of it such a cool and unique song. Even if it may be a little over the top, it is what shows how great of a vocalist Adrian Belew is.

While the instrumentation is great on that song, it is certainly the vocals that gives it personality and identity, they're really well executed imo

"babble burble banter bicker broooh haha"

Come on this shit doesn't do anything to enhance that song. It's annoying as fuck. Don't pretend otherwise. The rest of the album thankfully makes up for it.

I love Elephant Talk

The way he goes through 5 letters and names different words for talking is so fun, especially since it ends at E for Elephant

Talk, it's only talk

filibuster, foretell,

formulate, frame,

flirt, fuss

Fast talk

I'd love an extended jam version, where they do all 26 letters lmao, though I suppose X would be impossible

It gives me the same feeling of a good voice actor in anime, cartoon, etc...

It isn't singing but I still like the sound of the voice and the way it is expressed

I listened to this record a few years ago, but it didn't stick.

Gave it another go a couple of days ago and blew my mind. The songs are so damn catchy and really fun. Love the pop context of all the progressive structures here.

The percussion on this is incredible!!! Each King Crimson album is exploring a new musical texture, just like Jazz does.
