My stupid ass thought smoking weed after the Rams beat the Bengals in the Super Bowl was a good idea and then I wound up so nervous and anxious about everything I was just glad I had people around me to calm me down. Never again after that.

I get super annoyed by people that try to push wheat on people like that. LIke I get that it's really enjoyable for the people that enjoy it and they just want to share their experience but not everyone has that experience, and as someone who gets really bad anxiety from other shit I fully understand not wanting to subject yourself.

I will say psychedelics/hallucinogens like shrooms or acid in general have a much better track record as far as adverse effects than even weed and are a great tool for a lot of people both medicinally and recreationally, but anything can be abused and using any outside substance to cope with internal struggles can be a dangerous path.
A nice trip 1-2x a year has always been a nice time and a positive kind of brain reset for me when I'm feeling bogged down by life.

Lateralus was actually the first album I listened to the first time I smoked wheat in college. I think it was that and Blood Mountain.
Also did acid while seeing Tool live two times and would recommend A+. The climax of Descending combined with all the visuals they have going on ooooooo.
