there's nothing i like about the vocals and this is still a 4. so thats pretty great. might be bumped up soon. haven't checked out any of their other albums yet.

the fact that vocals are there at all is a plus. adds variety and structure to the music. they just dont excite me.

so i got this and oceanic and gave them both a good listen. both are awesome, but the vocals on oceanic >>>>>>> vocals on panopticon. maybe its the attempt at clean singing on panopticon that just doesnt work, but the screaming is so much more awesome on oceanic. either way theyre both great. might prefer panopticon for the way it flows.
