I’m also taking over as GM too and trading for Lamar Jackson. Keeping Hopkins and getting him the best trainers and food and whatever the hell he needs to have a semi-resurgent 900 yards and 5 touchdowns to compliment the team.

Do you guys think the Ravens would take Robbie Anderson, 1 million under the table, and a 3rd round pick for Jackson? 🤣

Cuz for real I’m trying to con a team out of a lot more than Jackson with Kyler a Murray.

Okay boys, the Conference Championships are set:
AFC - BENGALS V. CHIEFS REMATCH
NFC - EAGLES V. NINERS WHICH SHOULD BE FANTASTIC.
Not gonna lie that Eagles D is frightening. Both games should be a joy to watch.

My picks are still going strong. I had Niners v. Eagles and Chiefs v. Bengals, now I just need to see that glorious and PTSD inducing Cincy v. Frisco Superbowl. Make it happen!

I mean he has had that Brady black magic in the playoffs of playing meh but not losing cause of timely turnovers from the defense so gotta cancel a blessing with a curse, right?

“Maybe the bengals will be the next 1990 bills”
I literally was just talking to a friend of mine about that today… Feels like it could be the case.
Although yes, Burrow is the real deal.

My wallet is crying but I got tickets to go see the Eagles on Sunday. Hoping they don't let me down. I think Purdy is going to have a rough time in his first truly hostile road game.

Also, Carolina hired Frank Reich. How we feeling about that hire?

feel bad for Steve Wilks, Reich's tenure in Indy wasn't even that good and he still got chosen over a guy already there who had the team on a good track with minimal talent.

I won't call it an awful hire yet, although it certainly feels like the most bland option possible. A lot of people excuse his performance due to the QB situation without recognizing how he contributed to it. Yes, Luck's retirement was out of his control (that falls 100% on Ballard), but he rejected a Philip Rivers who still clearly had gas in the tank in favor of Wentz, who was a bust--doesn't show up on stats necessarily, but as a fan of an AFC South team, he truly was awful from all I saw from him--and then they pivoted to a very washed Matt Ryan, then got all shocked he was washed.
Sirianni succeeding in Philly also gives credence to the idea that perhaps he was the true brains of the operation. Feel like Carolina needed a kick-in-the-ass type, and that's just not the culture/intensity that Reich brings.

One of the biggest lies of the late-2010s and early 2020s Colts is that Rivers was washed. Watch the tape; his deep ball wasn't the same, but the dude was solid, and he was the least of the team's worries. That playoff loss was on everyone but him, he played his heart out.
Reich hitched his wagon to Wentz even though Philip allegedly wanted to come back next year.
