i did check bloc party's new album and it was ehhhhhh



kele has the worst lyrics and him shutting up 50% more would improve that album heavily

The music on the new bloc party album is some of their best in a while, but yeah the lyrics are sometimes hard to tolerate. I thought the album was decent overall

Solway is very good too except for the weird vox in the beginning

AHIG is one of their best sounding albums overall, and his voice never feels more STRONG than on that album. The aggressive parts beat Vol 3 by miles, and afterwards he never sounds half as viscous as he does on Gematria or the title track.



S/t next up but he grew a lot as a vocalist going into Iowa, not to knock s/t at all
