Na man but I will do.

Agree with you as well man, even the tracks I don’t dig too much on here translate waaayyy better live and the DM material just feels like Mike’s heart isn’t in it anymore.

That sucks, was really looking forward to hearing the likes of Deliverance t/t, Heir Apparent & (of course) Demon of the Fall live.

"their newer prog songs are way better live than on the albums and their older heavier stuff feels tired."

well that's what happens when you basically abandon any want to continue making metal music and go down a softer prog rock route. it's inevitable really

It was an incredible show, Devin opening while it was still light out and being completely epic, then Gojira wrecked the place as a big orange moon rose over the stage, then Opeth came on and killed it. One of the most mystical shows I've seen.

I was going through a rough time and it kind of elevated me a little bit to be honest, probably why it had such an effect on me.

What left you unimpressed? I wish they had a GA floor area there.

i just didn't think they sounded very good. set list was awesome (considering how much new stuff they played) but the older stuff just didn't have much punch. plus the band was boring to watch.

oh yeah and fuck red rocks because i guess ga isn't actually ga anymore

I still think heritage is better than this and PC. Although the last two have had better songwriting, Heritage had better production and I much preferred the hazy weirdness of it.
