p1 is the only one ive listened to recently and i honestly kinda hated it so the bulk of it doesnt have great songwriting but it has like 3-4 reasonably strong songs buried in it and spencer isnt as annoying yet

spencer hadnt yet grown into his own as a vocalist on P1, he proves his top 5 favorite singer of all time status on the melodic cuts here and the album after

seeing as this is a periphery thread i feel it to be relevant to post my top 10 from the band:

1. lune

2. absolomb

3. satellites

4. mile zero

5. psychosphere

6. sentient glow

7. stranger things

8. scarlet

9. marigold

10. heavy heart

also should bear a mention every track here is a 10/10 for me, and spencer specifically elevates them all because, again, in my top 5 favorite singers. i don't at all agree with P1 being his finest hour, but that might just be poor production marring my opinion because i revisited Insomnia and he was so low in the mix it was hard to hear.

i think we could basically go through the entire discography ahead of P1 aside from specific tracks here and there before seeing a single track from there on my rankings. it's not bad but i never find myself revisiting anything prior to P2.

meh this might be more of a 4.5 really but the strength of the 3-11 stretch of songs is just so good. I love them all, and Lune is their best song to me.
