EWBAITE is a lot better. I'm kinda bummed that they didn't follow that style on this album. Based on that album's closer, I was hoping we would get a sort of of prog pop Weezer album, but I guess that isn't going to happen now.

It is so tiring to see everyone complain about how this isn't Weezer every time something comes out. I'm sorry to break this to everyone... but this IS Weezer. Pinkerton came out in 1996... 21 years ago. Since then Weezer has evolved into creating music they like creating, experimenting with different methods and changing things up to keep themselves in the game. Weezer is not creating music for you. Weezer is simply creating music. This is one single, which is most likely meant to be their radio hit from the album. It doesn't mean the entire Black Album will be the exact same. A true Weezer fan will enjoy any type of music that they put out, and enjoy the journey they bring you on.
