Omar's guitar work stands out to say the least. Always dug it, more so on later releases. When I think Omar and great guitar playing, Cassandra Gemini in particular comes to mind.

I'm not normally one to complain about other's ratings because it's petty as shit, but its hard for me to imagine disliking this album enough to rate it a 2.0 or lower. So either A.) Have no interest in progressive music/writing, B.) Are trying to be pseudo-hipster and rate low to annoy the majority of people who've dug this album..
Of course it could also be their honest opinion because people rate shit based on different metrics and music is subjective as all fuck anyway, which makes discussion fun! WOOHOO gimme some more beer guyz
