on Cut to the Feeling: great vocal showcase for Carly. more commercial than anything off 'Emotion' except maybe 'I really like you', and like that song, the verses are more interesting than the chorus. though also like that song, the chorus is catchy is fuck. Just wish she'd ride the africana sounds (or whatever you call them) she's got going on in the verses instead of abandoning them for the chorus. an unfortunate compromise. pretty good song regardless, but it could have been something really special imo.
