That track is kinda pointless yeah, but I don't mind it at all.

I've never heard that about pt 1 before. Usually it's pt 3 people gripe about.

Pt 3 is a cool kinda ambient track. Pt 1 is amateurish noodling around

1 is no worse than the rest of the album methinks, but I also don't tend to pick that song series apart. I take it as a whole with Our Fortress Has Burned to the Ground as well.

The only cool part of pt 1 is when it starts to fade into pt 2

Frankly, never had a problem with it. If one of them feels aimless to me it would be 3 but that may be partially caused by me not being into ambient.

Just relistened to Pt. 1 and it's a cool piece. Honestly no clue what would make it any more amateurish or noodly than any other track on the album.

Because it's the only one that sounds like semi-improv guitar doodling. The rest of the leads on this album are pretty concise
