Dr.. why you do not 4.5 or 5 a -core album.. If you like it like hell, you can call it a classic for you.. And there is no genre better than the others
My problem with core is always about vocals ....the vocal style always keep me from doing it ....also i prefer like all metal styles to it ((except for glam and deathcore))
also core wears out very fast for me

Oh.. I can understand your explanation.. A lot of my friends share your opinion..This type of core
doesn't wear out fast on me.. AILD and the other bands who play like them do wears out fast beside
some exceptions like Botch as an example...
But do the DM and BM do the same thing for you?

I love DM and BM but prefer death and thrash to black but all 3 dont wear out with me tbh

I do agree with Kman.. It's hard to find good clean "metal" vocalist.. The one with better voices are probably Halford or Dickinson-like, so power metal and some prog metal and maybe some doom one, but I have difficulties to name some

Too much filler and meh tracks, even though it contains some of my favorite Dillinger songs (Fix Your Face, 82588, Horse Hunter and Mouth of Ghosts).
For me:
MM > CI > Killer > IW > OP
If Irony counts, it's right after MM.
