i havent checked this in years. i always kinda thought maybe it would experience some reevaluation and develop a cult fanbase amongst the super artsy crowd. it had a few good riffs and cool moments from what i recall.

I agree this album could/should probably grt sime sort of critical reevaluating. I think most people probably only heard a few moments before shitting on it, and I honestly don’t blame them for doing that. Now that it’s a decade old, maybe it’s worth checking again with a fresh mind.



The album is okay whenever Lou Reed is silent. Metallica does some of the most interesting and experimental riffs of their career, and I mean that in a good way. It’s his jarring voice and bizarre lyrics that make it so much worse.
