I guess that music gets even more subjective when it comes to The Beatles, truth is their best constantly changes. In my case, this one spoke to me on so many levels, I remember that I cried the first time I heard it, that's why this record has a special place in my heart. Damn! what a cheesy comment.

Tour has my greatest Beatles tune of the lot in Strawberry fields but as an album nah. Rubber has its moments.
The fuckin Beatles man gotta love 'em.

"Tour has my greatest Beatles tune of the lot in Strawberry fields"
My favorite Beatles song of all time is I Am the Walrus, my second favorite is Tomorrow Never Knows, but Strawberry Fields is up there.
"but as an album nah."
Literally every song on MMT is perfect except like Penny Lane...
"Rubber has its moments. "
You mean like every single one except for like Wait? Which Wait is still pretty good. (Rubber is still only like my 4th favorite Beatles, but yeah it still beats out Abbey honestly... which is my 6th fave...)

That's for sure there can't be a term like "Worst" Beatles album, that's why on the Let it Be thread I wrote the "not so brilliant" record.

Honestly, the 4 albums before Help! are pretty average...

I think Please Please me is the best pre-Rubber Soul record followed by A Hard Day's Night, so I can't agree with you Ars.

yeah i resent the fact that every beatles album is sometimes treated as a masterwork just because it's the beatles. of course they're great but yeah i don't dig anything before rubber soul that much

CAmillo your rating above is right on but for one exception, MMT should be down the list, the white album, ST. Peppers, and Let it be are all way better

No way Wham, Magical Mistery Tour is a brilliant record, though honestly my top 6 always suffers variations, as guitarded_chuck pointed, it's really difficult to rank The Beatles.
