Yeah Solace is damn good, despite it seeming generic on paper. Used to listen to that Call and Response album all the time but I totally forgot about it.

controller was thankfully the first one i heard so i will never be tired of it
most people that complain about it complain about the production but i think it's perfect for what they were going for. the rhythm guitar and kick drum on labyrinthian, for example, sounds like a dreamy machine gun or something. they kind of took the production style of bigger bands in that genre at the time (august burns red etc) and did it way better and made it sound bigger
