I really dig a lot of the stuff I heard from these guys but everytime I hear the first ~30 seconds of Punish My Heaven a part of me is like "why do I bother with the other albums when this one exists"

The most similar to this is the chaos and eternal night EP. The minds I is also similar but it is darker and more simple than this. Projector is probably their most interesting and unique, it mixes their pure melodeath with slowed down gothic vives. My favorite personally is skydancer which is much more OSDM than this.



Fiction and Damage done are alright but they have much simpler composition and the lyrics and themes arent nearly as poetic.



The rest of the albums are pretty trash (by comparison)

Yea I personally think the 90s is their peak but they did a really great job transitioning into their 2000s sound. Band has very rarely been less than great in the 30-ish years they’ve been going
