I've been really close to giving this a 5 for a while. I love every aspect except the vocals, which are admittedly sub-par.

Maybe you need to spend more time with it, I didn't like the vocals too much at first but then they clicked. Attila is the best replacement to Dead, I can't imagine anyone doing a better job.

I never got this album. Of all the classic second wave stuff, this is pretty much my least absolute favorite. Pure Holocaust pwns this.

Immortal is one of my fav bands tbh, but this album is just on another level. I did give Sons of Northern Darkness a 5 too, but this is better.

You know in Funeral Fog when the song really starts and there are those blasts and that tremolo riff? At 1:45 I reeeeally hate that melody.

I have the debut but the band just doesn't interest me much, probably one of the lowest bands on my BM priority list but yah can't imagine any immortal album topping this.
