its a pretty divisive album. critics loved it though. i honestly think its underrated lol. the T/T, Tempest and culling voices are awesome. descending is just tool by the numbers.(there a riff in descending thats literally copied from the grudge) . pneuma and invincible are solid

I'd move my ratings to rym (to avoid the eventual sput implosion) if it weren't for the fact I find all those mmmmmmid reviews posted by little users unsufferable, compared to letterboxd rym is a hellhole as it exposes them, at least our irrelevant shoutouts are hidden in our profile and not exposed to the public per-se on the freaking main page of the album

Rym would instantly be 3x better if reviews weren't visible on an album's frontpage and, wherever possible, all ratings were weighted at least 50% to off-site aggregations a la metacritic
