That's the whole point I'm getting at though is that the whole thing is a progressing crescendo it is one songwriting structure or idea, just builds and builds forever at least we get to explore a few different kinds of structures in a Nickelback song. Brand New instead create the blandest god damn most obvious crescendo I've ever heard that I can't think of any more of a predicable way they could have presented it. They hold your hand slowly through the whole thing. They may as well have just went ahead and made a chorus that went 'wow wow wow wow, wow wow wow'.
But m..m...muh crescendos are art.
