i usually give 3’s to albums that I don’t personally like and probably won’t ever revisit but I can see some sort of craft that went into it.
below 3 is where I start to have actively negative feelings towards an album.

3 is my "good but could've been even better" rating. 2.5s are where the negatives start creeping in, but I don't really see them as negative as a whole tbh. Anything below that then yeah, that's where it really starts getting bad.

i pretty much adopted sput's instrinic scoring descriptions but would replace the words 'classic' with 'perfect' and 'superb' with 'immaculate' as well as perhaps 'extraordinary' over 'excellent'

Some parts of this remind me of the feeling I felt when listening to Colors for the first time. Obviously less cartoonish shit, but the composition is reminiscent at times.
