I think it’s fun but tbh it would not fit on this record at all, Dead Cat transitions pretty much perfectly into Dead Internet and I think both of them being heavy as balls would just be a little much.

The bassline makes the song imo. The demo just feels so different because of it. That’s another thing that really makes this record stand out imo, obv the vocals are front and center for much of it but no single instrument dominates the mix. I love the production here. Somehow it perfectly captures every member without ever feeling pristine or artificial. Idk, as someone that’s seen them live many times, and if you got a decent set of cans, to me the album literally sounds like you’re in the room with them jamming
